Northern Utah WebSDR - Server #3
80/40M back-up receivers and various SWBC using an Omnidirectional antenna
Plus 2 meters via south-pointing beam antenna

This WebSDR is located near Corinne, Utah, about 80 miles (94km) north of Salt Lake City and about 14 miles (23km) east of the Golden Spike National Historic Site.

This WebSDR system covers all U.S. amateur HF, MF and LF bands, 2 meters, the bottom 1 MHz of 6 meters, and several shortwave broadcast bands - see the Technical Info page for more details.

Covered by this server:

  • The 2 meter amateur band using a 5 element Yagi pointed (more or less) south, allowing reception of many repeaters and stations in the Salt Lake, Davis, Weber and Box Elder counties - which includes the areas from Salt Lake to north of Brigham City.
  • The 90, 60, 49, 41, 31, 25 and 19 meter shortwave broadcast bands.
  • Also provided by this server is redundancy for the very popular 80/75 and 40 meter amateur bands if WebSDR1 (Yellow) goes offline, using these lower-performance receivers.
  • The 60 and 30 meter amateur bands are covered by the "60-49M" and "31-30M" meter receivers, respectively.
    • A high-performance 60 meter receiver may be found on WebSDR #1 (Yellow) - Link.

The 2021/2022 User Survey has finished and you may see the results here.

For Salt Lake City area coverage on 2 meters and 70cm look for the Salt Lake Metro buttons, below.

NEW:

The Salt Lake Metro server now has a narrowband, high-performance 2 meter receiver dedicated to Earth to Space reception of signals from spacecraft - Link
To invoke this page with a preset frequency and mode, append "/?tune=(freq kHz)(mode)" to the URL and save it as a bookmark as in: http://[WebSDR's URL]?tune=7200lsb

Additional URL parameters are described on the "FAQ" page here.

If you find that CatSync doesn't work with this WebSDR, add "?10hz" to the URL. There may be other issues with CatSync - read here.

Remember: If you don't do something (e.g. retune, adjust bandwidth, volume) this WebSDR will time out after 120 minutes. If it does time out, refresh the browser.
